Bought a machine that could take ESE as well as ground and have tried lots of coffees – I have to say these pods are my favourite for an espresso; great for a caffeine buzz and lovely taste to boot. (Posted on 18/07/2012)

I asked if they would be ok for my Francis Francis X1 and was assured that "they might be ok" so with some trepidation I ordered.
Of course they don`t fit - silly me.

When I noticed that water was dripping around the head during brewing I measured the actual diameter of the remaining Illy pods and it was only 40mm.

44mm is a tad too wide for the FFX1 my friends.

On the good side - the coffee tastes very good and luckily I only bought a couple of 18`s and will continue to use them until they are consumed. (Posted on 27/06/2012)
